The United States Maritime Administration has published a report studying total fuel cycle emissions associated with natural gas as a marine fuel. Findings from the case studies presented in the report show that the use of natural gas marine fuels reduces air quality pollutants substantially and reduces greenhouse gas emission slightly when compared to petroleum marine fuels. |
