The U.S. Department of Transportation's Bureau of Transportation Statistics' (BTS) reports that their Transportation Services Index (TSI) has risen 0.8 percent in September from August to an all-time high since beginning to track this index in 2000. The Freight TSI measures the month-to-month changes in freight shipments by mode of transportation in tons and ton-miles. |
