Description	Goods movement throughout Georgia currently represents a $15 billion per year industry in the state and economists believe the industry has the potential to grow as much as 200 percent over the next 35 years. The Georgia Department of Transportation is working with public and private freight-transportation stakeholders to prepare for the potential increase freight movement through the state following the expansion of the Panama Canal.
