The Oregon Department of Transportation has completed a study on Oregon's supply chains in an effort to better define the relationship between freight movement and freight company characteristics. Researchers reviewed information on vehicle fleets, locations served, times traveled, types of deliveries, and commodities in conjunction with company type to identify clusters of companies with similar characteristics. Findings from this study can better assist decision makers plan for freight shipments. |
