A recent effort completed by the Border Policy Research Institute (BPRI) reviewed two border-related initiatives (the National Export initiative and the Progress Toward a "Green Border" initiative) using a combination of federal datasets and field data. Among other findings, this report highlights a 22 percent increase in border-wide volume of goods exported from the United States to Canada and methods to use available data to "green the border" by increasing safety and mobility. |
