| Description |
After being in the works for nearly two years, the Port of Virginia will be the first port on the United States' east coast that will have a weekly first-in service supplied by the CKYH steamship alliance directly to Asia. This new service has been labeled the NATCO-4 service and will include eight vessels. The new rotation schedule at the Port of Virginia is scheduled to begin at the end of April and will be Shanghai, Chiwan, Yantian, Hong Kong, Virginia, and finally New York. In addition to the NATCO-4 service, the Port of Virginia will also be adding a service called NATCO-5 in May which is not a first-in service, but it will add more coverage from the east coast to Asia. These new services will add more than 150 new ships going through the Port of Virginia each year. |
