This study, commissioned by the Greensboro, North Carolina Economic Development Alliance, involved a comprehensive data analysis of the North Carolina Triad area's cluster of transport-logistics industries. The objectives of the study were to help local governments develop land-use and zoning policies to mitigate the issues often associated with major transportation hubs, and to determine what can be improved in the Triad's transport-logistics cluster. The Triad area has nearly 1,000 transport-logistics companies employing almost 16,000 workers. |
