This is a schematic of a physical freight flow. It begins with a supplier node, then a link to a trucking node. At this point, the flow may split off into two paths, one including a consolidator and the other bypassing a consolidator. Both paths converge on an air link. From there, there are again two paths, one including a Customs Agency and the other bypassing Customs. Both of these paths converge on a trucking link. From there, there are two paths, one including a consolidator and the other bypassing a consolidator. Finally, both of these paths converge on the consignee.
