Depiction of Physical Freight Flow for Time-Sensitive Freight
This is a schematic of a physical freight flow. It begins with a supplier
node, then a link to a trucking node. At this point, the flow may split
off into two paths, one including a consolidator and the other bypassing
a consolidator. Both paths converge on an air link. From there, there
are again two paths, one including a Customs Agency and the other bypassing
Customs. Both of these paths converge on a trucking link. From there,
there are two paths, one including a consolidator and the other bypassing
a consolidator. Finally, both of these paths converge on the consignee.
